New freephone Traveline number

The Traveline telephone number is being replaced by a new freephone number, 0800 952 0002.

Why is this change taking place?

Not everyone has access to inclusive calls on mobile phones, meaning that the cost of calling Traveline could be prohibitive for a disproportionate amount of bus users. This especially affects Pay-As-You-Go users, who tend to be those on lower incomes, and can be a barrier to using public transport effectively.

By replacing the current 01709 51 51 51 phone number with the freephone number 0800 952 0002 we are making it free for everyone who wants to contact us by phone.
