Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Aston Academy, we firmly believe that all teachers are teachers of SEN and we actively support the government's commitment to inclusive education, where every child matters. Our culture and practices are designed to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring access to carefully tailored learning support programmes. We adhere to statutory government legislation for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, conducting thorough risk assessments in collaboration with our Inclusion and wider staff teams, parents/carers, and external agencies prior to admission. Our Access Plan and Equality Scheme highlight our dedication to improving provision for all, nurturing a culture that supports every student's growth and potential.
