Y7 Transition 2017

Key Transition Dates - 2017

 

March 2017 - Parents'/carers' packs sent to contributory primary schools with key transition information

May - Second wave of transition visits.  Chris Risley, Y7 Learning Progress Manager, will be visiting schools to give students further details regarding the transition programme and upcoming events

Tuesday 13th June 2017 - Additional Induction Day for extra district students (students living outside the geographical catchment area)- 9.00am-2.30pm

Monday 26th June 2017 - Full Induction day - students arrive from 8.30am and leave at 2.55pm

Monday 26th June 2017 - Parents'/carers' Information Evening - 6-7pm

Week commencing Monday 3rd July - KS2 results received in school

Week commencing Monday 17th July - House information sent to parents/carers - details regarding which houses and tutor groups children have been placed in

Thursday 31st August - Summer School Induction Day 1 - Furnival and Melton Houses

Friday 1st September - Summer School Induction Day 2 - Darcy and Verelst Houses

 

The first full day of school for Y7 students is Wednesday 6th September 2017 from 8.30am.
