Aston Academy is the lead school in the Aston Community Education Trust. At Aston, we have an excellent track record of working in partnership with local HEIs, principally Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield, to successfully support, train and mentor ITT trainees, enabling them to gain a PGCE qualification with QTS.

All of the schools within the Aston Partnership have an excellent track record of working effectively with Higher Education Institutions in Initial Teacher Education to successfully support, train and mentor ITE trainees, enabling you to gain a post-graduate qualification in education (PGCE or PGDE) with Masters level credits, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
